About Ayden, NC - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

The town of Ayden is located in Pitt County, North Carolina, approximately eleven miles south of the city of Greenville.  The town got its start with the donation of forty acres of farmland by local farmer William Henry Harris to the Atlantic Coast Line railroad in 1891.  A railroad depot was subsequently built on the donated land, creating the village of Harristown, which was renamed Ayden upon its incorporation as a town on February 3, 1891.  Present day Ayden is home to almost 5,000 residents who enjoy the town’s convenient proximity to the amenities of the city of Greenville and the beautiful seasonal weather that graces the region, bringing hot summers, moderate wet winters, and lovely mild weather during spring and fall.

Ayden is famous for its Collard Festival, a four-day extravaganza held the week after Labor Day, with events that include the Collard Festival Parade, collard cooking and eating contests, art shows, a 5K race, beauty pageant, and rides and attractions.  Also dedicated to the community and residents are the Ayden Community Theatre and Ayden Arts & Recreation Department, two local organizations that provide opportunities for residents of all ages to become involved in local theater, athletics, and arts and crafts.

Ayden is proud of its small town atmosphere and prides itself on being a clean, safe, and attractive community dedicated to the continued growth and success of its business and residential communities.
